‘The Words are: Foggy and Snow’

Stop at the harbour and give in your soul…

Feel the heavy and restless hold.

Harbour Fog
Harbour Fog

Let the wheel of life take you away…

On a cold and snowy day!

You can do a¬†self-examination. If you detect any of the following symptoms, as carefully described by¬†Albert from the¬†blog¬†Passionately Curious,¬†come and join us: ‚ÄúWithdrawal symptoms may include the incessant need to carry your camera everywhere with you, the need to wake up in the wee hours to take photos during the golden hour, and checking up on others you met during the course to see what their newfound knowledge has brought fruit to.‚ÄĚ

How to join:

Time: The Clinic is open 24 x 7 until the healing process ends.

‘The Word is Humid’

Open your eyes to the morning whisper…

Let the mist embrace you kindly,

Feel the icy touch like winter…

Slide you through the haze quite slowly.

‘Tenebrous Tower’ #1

He looked down into nothing…

The night covered everything with a dark silk blanket, that seemed to look more like a prison than a shelter.

All he wanted was to close his eyes and rest his body after a long day of walking in the sun…the journey he has chosen wasn’t easy but the destination will be his¬†fulfilment of a promise he made a long time ago.

He looked at the old¬†ceiling…it could collapse on him any minute. It was broken and old, the walls around the room were a thing of the past, you could see the metal that was holding the building together, rusty and ready to give up…

He didn’t think this through…he could have walk until the next village.

He was too tired and his feet were full of bleeding blisters…

The old fa√ßade of the Tower made him stop and he felt somehow drawn to it…he spent too much time exploring the inside and now he had no choice than to spend the night here.

He placed his sleeping bag in the corner, turned off the flash light and slowly closed his eyes.

it was a full moon and the silence around captured him into a deep sleep, until a suave voice¬†whispered in his ears…”You are mine!”

His heart stopped and he couldn’t move…he was afraid to open his eyes..

This could be a nightmare…but it wasn’t!

He raised his head as he felt a cold touch over his body…he saw no one.

Suddenly a massive shadow was climbing up the wall¬†from the corner of the window…slowly getting closer and closer…

He couldn’t stand up from the panic…

He pulled his knee up, closed his eyes and buried his face,¬†continuously repeating the same thing…

This is a nightmare….This is a nightmare…This is a nightmare”.

‘The Butterfly Effect’ Symbol

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Symbol.”

Butterfly Effect
Butterfly Effect

The butterfly effect

The scientific theory that a single occurrence, no matter how small, can change the course of the universe forever.

The theory that everything that happens must happen; that you can’t save one thing without destroying something else. Coming from the idea of a butterfly caught in a spider’s web. You can’t save the butterfly without killing the spider (through violence or starvation).

Theory that everything matters. That even the flutter of a butterfly’s wings can cause a hurricane on the other side of the world. If you change even the smallest of life’s details, you completely change its outcome.

The butterfly is a symbol of beauty but more than that, for me it encapsulates the existence of the ripple effect.

Someone once told me that every good deed creates a ripple effect and I truly believe that:)

Our world is full of endless unknowns but one thing I am sure off is that ‘good creates great’, that giving enables others to gift even more…that a smile can sometimes dry out tears and even if we feel lonely, we are never alone:)

The butterfly…what does it mean to you?

I am also posting for Lucile’s Photo 101 Rehab…a place of constant greatness.

I took a short break from the Clinic as I am working on Camera Lucida Link, a great opportunity for anyone who loves photography to expose their work in a weekly photo challenge:)

As the night falls…

The stars hide behind the clouds,

The darkness caresses…
