‘Daydream’

The cold purple way,

The infinity of the blue sky

The fantasy of a dream,

The fairy tale of the eye.

My second Photo 101 assignments –  The Street & Establishing Shots.

I was in a fantasy mood today and it translates into the picture I took this morning…the street just needed a story and I decided to tell it:)

I would also like to link this photo to The Clinic Photo Rehab 101, which has been my place of inspiration from the moment I’ve reached its door and walked its long and creative corridor:) Thank you Lucile for the invite:)

Picture taken with my smartphone and slightly re-touched with a basic photo application:)

Here are some more information about our playground if you decide to join us:)

This blog hosted ‘The Photo101 Rehab Clinic’ from 04 to 31 December 2014 and featured over 170 photos made by Photobloggers Andy Townend, Mara Eastern, Cardinal Guzman, DesleyJane, Justine, Amy, Teresa, Albert, Terri, Giving Thought, Ellen, Nalinki, Mariangeles, DwayCrafts, Lucy, Terri, Bampa’s Views, PeaceCrafting, Dreaming of Leaving and Project Easier.

As former patients informed me that the withdrawal symptoms remained active, and new patients recognized the same symptoms, The Clinic – Photo Rehab  reopened its doors.

You can do a self-examination. If you detect any of the following symptoms, as carefully described by Albert from the blog Passionately Curious, come and join us: “Withdrawal symptoms may include the incessant need to carry your camera everywhere with you, the need to wake up in the wee hours to take photos during the golden hour, and checking up on others you met during the course to see what their newfound knowledge has brought fruit to.”

How to join:

Time: The Clinic is open 24 x 7 until the healing process ends.

Camera: You can use any camera, from DSLR, mirrorless, compact, to smartphones.

Theme: Bring your creativity and photograph a theme of your liking in B&W or Color. With or without edition. We like learning techniques as well, if you want to share it with everyone.

Who can join: Anyone can join; and not only former Photo 101 bloggers. All you need is passion. Passion to speak up through images – or words, if you may want to add your thoughts to it as well – showing what you see and how much that is important to you.

Thanks for joining and enjoy it.

‘The perfect time and place’

dsc__506_Fotor-1

WHAT WOULD YOU DEFINE AS THE TURNING-POINT OF YOUR LIFE?

One day…

The perfect time and place…

The only place I could ever call home…

It might sound as a ‘cliche’, but the moment I’ve said ‘YES’, everything changed…our lives became one, our hearts took the same rhythm and home turn out to be anywhere in the world…with one essential piece…being together!

I’ve learned throughout the years that home it’s not necessarily a place…sometimes it’s a state of mind, a feeling of belonging…not to a specific location but to a person.

“Home is where the hearts is”…this quote keeps coming back to me…and if I am being honest with myself, my life it’s based on it, because home for me it’s him…not a country or a city or even a house…home is where I left my heart…

No. of words = 136

Timer 10 minutes

This was the topic I was challenged to answer by my lovely fellow blogger Lucy at Icecoffeecouture🙂 Thank you Lucy, it was fun:) I love free style writing challenges so here are the rules:

Open an MS Word document (or Pages)

1. Set a stop watch or your mobile to 5 minutes or 10 minutes whichever challenge you think you can beat. (Not sure what that meant so I just set the timer for 10)

2. Your topic is at the foot of this post BUT DO NOT SCROLL DOWN TO SEE IT UNTIL YOU ARE READY WITH A TIMER.

3. Fill the word doc with as many words as you want. Once you began writing do not stop even to turn.

4. Do not cheat by going back and correcting spellings and grammar with spell check in MS WORD (it is only meant for you to reflect on your own control of sensible thought flow and for you to reflect on your ability to write the right spelling and stick to grammar rules)

5. You may or may not pay attention to punctuation and capitals. However, if you do, it would be best.

6. At the end of your post write down ‘No. Of words =_____’ so that we would have an idea of how much you can write within the time frame.

7. Do not forget to copy paste the entire passage on your blog post with a new Topic for your nominees and copy paste these rules with your nominations (at least 5 bloggers)

The nomination list it’s wide open…if you want to get on board and take a journey with us, please take part in this challenge and create a pingback to this post:)

Your topic: THE ONE PICTURE THAT YOU LOVE:)

As I am trying to be extremely efficient, this post it’s my first entry to the amazing Photo 101 Class:) It’s a picture that is close to my heart and falls into the theme of ‘Home’!
