‘Camera Lucida’ – Hidden

Welcome back to week #17 of Camera Lucida Photo Challenge

IMG_1038-1

This week’s theme: ‘Hidden’

  1. kept out of sight; concealed;
  2. difficult to find, lying beyond what is obvious or avowed.

This week capture something out of sight…a beautiful piece that you’ve discovered.

I’ve took these photos a few months back and the scenery may have looked very simple then but going through them now…the colours are so beautiful and they make me feel inspired, like I’ve discovered something new:)

Share with the world your latest discovery…something that made you smile…something that was concealed from the naked eye…something that inspired you!

Like the green leaves of spring trying to show their beauty…let your eyes wonder towards the unknown and maybe uncover a small secret of nature!

My Fashion ‘Must’

Hello World:)

Welcome back to my Fashion Guide…

I’ve been thinking for a while…what’s new and I must have it!?

To be honest…not much…:)

…what about…what’s already mine and I’m in love with it?!

IMG_1403-1

Well…here is My Fashion ‘must’ for 2016!

The Little Red Dress

You can never go wrong with something new…something red:) On it’s own it can be a beautiful going out piece but we the right accessories…you can take it out for a walk as day wear…even sporty look!

Silver Sport Shoes

To be completely honest, it never crossed my mind to wear silver with red…but it works. I believe it comes down to the “think it through” mix and match rule: Try it, Wear It, Love It! I’ve always loved the odd combination of elegant and sporty…perfect casual with a touch of your own personality:)

IMG_1408-1

The Black Hat

Comes and goes…but it’s somehow always here! Last years accessory is this years must have:) Take your style a bit further and give it a bit of mystery…

IMG_1409-1

The Elegant Bow Tie

It’s not just for men:) Is there anything left in Fashion that only women or men wear? Nothing really comes to mind…it might be because it’s 10pm and I am a bit sleepy:)

To be fair, I’ve always loved bow ties…yes it makes a man look sexy, but it also gives a woman a beautifully powerful look!

IMG_1407-1

The Beats

This one it’s a personal choice…and not just because it’s red 🙂

Have a bit of music in your life; everything feels and looks different with the sound of your favourite beat!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this weeks Fashion Guide…:)

Hello, December!

Welcome back to my Fashion Guide…

It’s been a while…

Life has been so busy in the past few months that I haven’t had the chance to write as much as I would love to…

I’ve missed it…

This week I’ve decided to write about one of the best trends this winter

The Statement Ankle Boot

IMG_1130-1
The Ankle Boot

Everywhere we look this winter, it’s all about ankle boots…to be honest, this one piece it’s here to stay and it’s somehow becoming a classic:)

The black suede will always be my favourite!

…flat or heels, choose the ones that work for you.

Personally, I go for block heels because it can be matched with jeans for a more relaxed look or with a dress/skirt for a going out style.

But if that’s not your trend, you can always go for buckle-boots, riding style…no matter what the fashion tells you, choose the piece that works for you.

Winter cosy

…and never forget to accessories:)

I have three reasons why I love winter time:

  • New Boots
  • A beautiful Coat
  • Warm and cosy accessories

A well coordinated accessory can do wonders for your look…might that be mittens, a hat or your knitted long scarf!

So…what will be your Winter Cosy?

‘Camera Lucida – The Colour of Life’

Welcome back to week #10 of Camera Lucida Photo Challenge

Colour of Life
Colour of Life

This week’s theme: The Colour of Life

  1. Colour – the property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way it reflects or emits light.
  2. Life – a particular type or aspect of human existence

I’ve been looking for something out of the ordinary and I’ve actually found it 🙂

A very interesting collection of owls…not ordinary owls, but an expression of art and visual effects which I’ve never seen before. What captured my attention was the vivid and detailed colours that tell a story in the most extraordinary way!

This week your challenge is to find and capture the tone of life…the colours that make your heart beat faster and your eyes open wider…take a snapshot of the rainbow that shows the true colours of life…seize the moment of a beautiful red apple before you take a bite…catch the bright colour of the sunset that takes all life to sleep…immortalise the striking green wake up of the nature…showcase the appetising look of the most tasty and colourful dish…SHARE the colour of your life 🙂

‘The Butterfly Effect’ Symbol

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Symbol.”

Butterfly Effect
Butterfly Effect

The butterfly effect

The scientific theory that a single occurrence, no matter how small, can change the course of the universe forever.

The theory that everything that happens must happen; that you can’t save one thing without destroying something else. Coming from the idea of a butterfly caught in a spider’s web. You can’t save the butterfly without killing the spider (through violence or starvation).

Theory that everything matters. That even the flutter of a butterfly’s wings can cause a hurricane on the other side of the world. If you change even the smallest of life’s details, you completely change its outcome.

The butterfly is a symbol of beauty but more than that, for me it encapsulates the existence of the ripple effect.

Someone once told me that every good deed creates a ripple effect and I truly believe that:)

Our world is full of endless unknowns but one thing I am sure off is that ‘good creates great’, that giving enables others to gift even more…that a smile can sometimes dry out tears and even if we feel lonely, we are never alone:)

The butterfly…what does it mean to you?

I am also posting for Lucile’s Photo 101 Rehab…a place of constant greatness.

I took a short break from the Clinic as I am working on Camera Lucida Link, a great opportunity for anyone who loves photography to expose their work in a weekly photo challenge:)
