‘Thank You!’

Take time to be kind and to say ‘thank you.’

Hello my beautiful friends:)

This post is so long overdue that it has to be the best I’ve done until now:)

For the past few months I’ve been blessed with so many nominations for amazing awards but had no time to thank all my fellow bloggers who thought of me as a deserving recipient of these beautiful awards.

I dedicate this post to YOU…because you are the reason why I love to write!

If you’ve read my blog in the past, you know by now that ‘simple’ is not something I am familiar with:)))

I am going to bend the rules a bit, just because this post should be all about YOU…all of you who nominated me and who sit beside me on this journey of discovery that is My Red Page.

I hope you will enjoy this post…I’ve loved every second creating it:)

Here we go…

Eloquent-deviance it’s a very interesting blog about true feelings and honest thoughts…a refreshing way of looking at the world, I might say!

Moviemphetamine is one of my favourite blogs because it shares my passion for movies, so if one of your ways of spending Friday evening is sitting back with a cup of hot cocoa and watching a good film, take a peak at what should you watch next.

Alicia from AliciasWorldofPages has a great blog for book reviews that she shares with all of us in her own unique way…read some inspirational posts and open up to a journey of amazing reads.

Thank you so much Deb for this nomination, it means more than you know!

All of us, writers…secretly, we all wish that one day someone will call us ‘Inspirational’, because that’s how we know that the message we wanted to send out into the world, was understood and shared.

Deb and Once Upon A Hot Flash it’s one of the most inspirational blogs I’ve read in a while…she is the one who reminds me that we should be grateful for every little thing in our life and that we should live each day like a birthday…isn’t that beautiful?

Soumi from An Unwrapped Soul has an amazing blog…she is a very talented writer and if you take a minute to read her blog, you will be drawn into her world!

Kat from Hunggry Tummy shares her best recipes and food encounters with step by step guide towards making  your own delicious dishes in the comfort of your kitchen. What can I say….us foodies must stick together:)

As I’ve mentioned at the beginning, I am not going to make this post about myself, because you already know more than 7 things about me…this post is a ‘Thank You’ for all these amazing opportunities that I have every day to share my thoughts because you are along side me, sailing towards the unknown.

Thank you again for all these appreciations and I am extending the love to all of you who are reading this post…keep supporting each other and rewarding those who inspire you because we can only make it together!

My Liebster Saga continues and I couldn’t be happier…I have so many wonderful people around me and everything I achieve is a huge credit to them as to my unstoppable desire to paint the world red:)))

Screen Shot 2015-05-17 at 20.44.35

Here are the Award rules to follow:

  • Once you are nominated, make a post thanking and linking the person who nominated you.
  • Include the Liebster Award sticker in the post.
  • Nominate 10 other bloggers who you feel are worthy of this award. Let them know they have been nominated by commenting on one of their posts. You can also nominate the person who nominated you.
  • Answer the ten questions asked to you by the person who nominated you, and make ten questions of your own for your nominees.
  • Lastly, COPY these rules in the post.

Thank you so much Romina for this nomination, I hope I am going to live up to your expectations and be the Ambassador for DietYogaEnergy for one day only:) I know you love strawberries, so the core ingredient for today’s post is…Red, tasty, juicy STRAWBERRY🙂

FullSizeRender_Fotor

Let’s get started:)

Here are Romina’s questions!

1. Hi! What’s your favourite fruit?

Screen Shot 2015-05-23 at 23.37.36 Hello:) I would say that my favourite fruit is cherry…but I love fruits in general, I don’t think I dislike any of them!

2. Do you speak a language other than English? (If yes, what language?)

Screen Shot 2015-05-23 at 23.37.36 Yes, I speak italian, french and spanish:)

3. Where would you go if you could live in another country for the rest of your life?

Screen Shot 2015-05-23 at 23.37.36 I would live in the amazing forever green cradle of Tuscany!

4. What do you think is your spirit animal?

Screen Shot 2015-05-23 at 23.37.36 I’ve never thought of that…I guess it might be the jaguar:), just because I love them but I am not sure if I identify with its behaviour completely!

5. What’s your favourite exercise/ fitness routine?

Screen Shot 2015-05-23 at 23.37.36 I don’t have a favourite one, just because I like variety:) I found that once the body gets used to a certain routine, the effect of it, drops really fast, so I like to change my fitness routine as often as I can!

6. Have you ever tried any vegan recipes (no meat, no dairy/milk, no eggs) of your favourite food?

Screen Shot 2015-05-23 at 23.37.36 Not that I can remember, but I do give up all these ingredients and become a vegan for six weeks every year.

7. What city did you grow up in?

Screen Shot 2015-05-23 at 23.37.36 I like to leave a bit of mystery when it comes to write about myself:) I would say one thing about the place I’ve grew up in…’you could smell the salt in the air, feel the sand between your toes and hide under the trees from the hot sunshine’.

8. If aliens landed on Earth, would you rather stay and hide from them or take an unknown adventure into outer space away from the planet?

Screen Shot 2015-05-23 at 23.37.36 Interesting question…as much as I love discovering the unknown and embark onto an adventure, I love Earth to much to leave:)

9. What’s your favourite dessert / sweets?

Screen Shot 2015-05-23 at 23.37.36 It has to be triple chocolate cake with wild berries:)

10. If you had the chance to change one big thing in the world, what would you change?

Screen Shot 2015-05-23 at 23.37.36 This is a hard one:( I would definitely try and raise more awareness around the exploitation of our environment and the devastation that it could cause. I think we tend to forget that everything around us can survive without us but we cannot survive without it!

Now it’s my turn again to nominate some amazing bloggers for the Liebster Award:

9) What are you most likely to think when you look up at the blue sky?

10) How do you define happiness?

Julia red world

For many years I’ve written poetry…I’ve only shared one poem with the world and that is because I’ve had to enter a competition…it was one of my assignments in school. I gave up writing for many years…I really don’t know why, I could find the same excuse as we all do and say ‘I didn’t have time’, but I believe I’ve lost the trust in what I could do if I would start again.

You know that feeling when no matter what you do, something is still missing?

That’s how I’ve felt for many years, until I’ve picked up a pen and a blank piece of paper…and everything made sense again. Blogging it’s my way of connecting and sharing what I love about writing…

So many people think that being a writer means stories, fiction, novels, thick books with hundreds of pages…

I think being a writer is expressing what you love with carefully chosen words…or just simply putting your heart and soul on a white sheet with no regrets…

I blog or better say, write about what I am in love with…fashion, photography, food, movies…and every now and then I let my imagination free and join the world of fiction.

I don’t have many passions, but I have a terrible adoration for the colour red…can’t really explain it…it’s just there, everywhere around me! My eyes have a sudden sparkle when I look at something red…it draws me, talks to me, enchants me in the most mysterious ways:)

If I try to find an explanation behind my love and inspiration for writing…I can’t find one!

I am inspired by everything in my life…sometimes I just look at a photo and I feel how the words travel within my mind and find a place where they all make sense. I’ve always enjoyed writing, it’s just who I am.

Blogging made me more confident in myself and in what I want to express through my words, but at the same time it gave me the amazing opportunity to connect with so many wonderful people who share the same passion for writing as I do. I love paging through blogs with some inspirational and powerful stories…I am in love with photography, so I always try to connect with blogs which are more visually themed. I am happy to been lucky enough to know bloggers who have the same excitement for fashion, food and movies as I do.

When I don’t blog or read different posts from my fellow bloggers, I like to read…My favourite book ever read has to be The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I say that…but I love each and every book he ever wrote…he is my pure inspiration when talking about writing.

I’ve discovered Paulo Coelho a few years after I’ve started writing and I always felt that I’ve shared something more than the love for magic and the unknown…his words seem to be my words…the thoughts he expresses in his books, sometimes are my thoughts…

I’ve always been a huge fan of quotes, I’ve used them in my writing and in my blogging…I think a quote is sometimes a slight peek into what’s coming as you scroll down the page.

One of my favourite quotes and which I truly believe to be true is:

“When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” Paulo Coelho
It’s so unbelievable but at the same time so simple…everything around us is connected and even if we do not see the silver string, each and every thing is linked to something else and every action has a reaction…so the world around us is always conspiring in our favour even when we fail to put our trust in it.

Writing is one way of trying to understand the world…and sometimes by discovering the unknown you have a chance to take a better look at yourself and uncover your own mystery. Writing for me is sometimes an escape …not from reality but more an escape into the deep and hidden miracles that make us who we are.

People see different things in different ways…writing is expressing those perspectives and finding a common ground where we connect. Simple things, like looking at the blue sky…some we’ll see a bright day, others will be grateful for the sun and its warmth…when I look up at the blue sky, I see life…endless line of mystery and hope, I see our Universe connected to far more than the Sun and the Moon…

A clear blue sky brings me happiness as a smile of a stranger brings me joy.

Happiness is such an unknown territory because it means so many different things to each of us…

Happiness it’s a feeling that comes from within…it’s a decision we make…we have the power to decide if we want to be happy or we want to find that thing or that someone who can make us happy.

Happiness is so personal and there are times when it takes just a touch to bring it to life…but sometimes I am afraid to let myself be entirely happy, because I don’t want to lose that feeling or the reason behind it…

One thing I can always be sure of…is that I never miss the chance to be happy, I love life as it is and I am grateful for every second I have to feel pure happiness.

…and there it is…a piece of me on paper:)

It’s my privilege again to nominate other bloggers for this award! Here are some inspirational blogs:)
