‘Hope is the last one to die…or maybe not’
Most used word today…OPTIMISTIC:)
…and here we are on day 2 of my Super Juice Me Plan…still alive and feeling quite optimistic about the whole experiment.
I cannot say that I don’t feel hungry but the juices are pretty delicious!
Today I was contemplating about ‘What we love’ versus ‘What’s Healthy’…it is rare when the two are the same.
Why is that?
Why we indulge in sugary and salty treats when we know so well that they are not healthy?
Is it really true that we need these small but so satisfying choices to feel better or even happier?
I’ve remembered reading a while back, what does it mean when we crave certain things, that our body is not necessarily hungry for chocolate as much as it’s missing certain ingredients that chocolate contains.
It is interesting when you dig a bit deeper into our eating habits and you realise that we could easily live a happy life without so many unhealthy things…
I’ve started my morning with a so called Natural Electrolyte Shot…sounds a bit technical but is far from it…just a 1/4 cucumber and a stalk of celery!
I’ve closed my eyes and had my morning shot…it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting.
My fridge still looks completely packed…bags of spinach are falling out every time I open the door:)…it’s quite funny!
I’ve juiced for the first time raw beetroot…love the colour not so much the taste; but luckily my juice had some extra ingredients like pineapple, carrot, banana, avocado, which made it easier to drink.
…and my day just flew by…
As I am still fighting the evening hunger, I went to bed early…again:)
I think if I will get anything out of this experiment, it will be a good rest:)
Day 2 down…26 to go!
