‘The Word is Humid’

Open your eyes to the morning whisper…

Let the mist embrace you kindly,

Feel the icy touch like winter…

Slide you through the haze quite slowly.

‘Camera Lucida’ – Nature’s Dessert

Welcome to week #4 of Camera Lucida Photo Challenge:)

This week’s theme: The Nature’s Dessert

I’ve always loved taking photos of nature…might that be beautiful flowers, interesting trees, breathtaking scenery but I do have a weakness for sweet and juicy fruits:)

This week I have the pleasure to invite you to share your best take on Nature’s Dessert…what makes you stop and stare?!

Share your vision of the sweet and juicy…fruity and vibrant…might that be the fruit stand at your favourite market, your morning fresh smoothie, the apple tree across the street, a hidden strawberry bush in your secret garden or the last lemonade you’ve enjoyed on a warm summer afternoon.

What is your fruity juicy?

How to join us?

Create a new post with the title CAMERA LUCIDA followed by the theme name.

‘Red Echo Date’ #6

quote 6

I do wonder sometimes if there is anyone out there…that can actually not plan, not think of planning or not be consumed by trying to control every aspect of their existence.

As simple as it might sound…it is extremely hard to let go or even just breathe! If you stop for a second and think about it, it’s silly…because you breathe every second of every minute, but the moment you have to think about it…everything becomes much harder.

Most of us are definitely organisers….head planners of our lives and we like to think we are in control of our own destiny…but are we?

When was the last time you let something in the hands of chance?

It’s not easy, isn’t it?

I’ve personally never liked to plan…I do believe that you can forge your own path and fight for what you want but at the same time there is a bigger picture behind the curtains that we don’t always see.

I don’t plan as much as I keep control over things around me…I live ‘the now’ and rarely let go to see what might happen:)

But even so I do feel the need to stop…make sure I am still breathing and trust that things will work out!

I do believe it takes more courage to step back and let the story unwind than to keep planning without knowing what might happen!

When was the last time you’ve trusted that things will happen the way they should?

Life will always be like a crystal ball…sometimes showing a clear path but most of the time open to interpretation, so take a minute and enjoy your life, trust yourself and see what happens!

At the end of the day when the sun drowns into the ocean and the stars cover the sky, we should only ask ourselves one question:

Did we live it or did we plan it?

Believe me…they are not one and the same!

You can leave your own quote in the comment box or write a new post!
If you decide to write a brand new post about it, copy the R.E.D logo, ping back to the last Red Echo Date post and tag it #redechodate so others can find it in the Reader or leave a link of your entry in the comment box:)

‘Camera Lucida’ – The Park Bench

Welcome to week #3 of Camera Lucida Photo Challenge:)

The Park Bench
The Park Bench

This week’s theme: The Park Bench

Throughout the years I’ve taken many pictures of benches…I don’t really have an explanation why, it was just something that lured my attention and it still does even today. What is more interesting to me, is that the bench is always empty.
I look through my collection and I always have the same feeling…it’s like each and every one of them is waiting for someone…
…it’s somehow lacking that human touch that gives its existence a purpose.
Does a bench represents anything to you?
This week I am inviting you to interpret the theme as you see fit…show us the last bench you’ve passed by, wood or metal, colourful or plain…empty or full!
Does it come with a story…if it does, we would love to read all about it:)

How to join us?

Follow your host and share each week your own vision of the theme.
