Listen…
The silence before the tempest,
Watch…
The fumes after the fire,
Feel…
The cold touch between the snow flakes,
Taste…
The frost of pure flood.
Today’s Photo 101 assignment – Landscape & Cropping
I’ve used some pictures I took a while back, but had a bit of play with visual effects to achieve the right result:)
I am also posting for Jennifer’s One Word Photo Challenge – this week’s Hurricane!
Love this challenge so much I just can’t stop:)
A few days ago one of my lovely fellow bloggers invited me to a writing challenge called ‘5 Days 5 Photos’!
For five days I will post pictures followed by a story or a poem:)
Thank you very much for the nomination, I’ll try my best to integrate the challenge into my daily posts.
Take a moment and visit https://kyrosmagica.wordpress.com/2015/06/24/5-photos-5-days-challenge-day-3-wi-fi-red-phone-box-dating/ to read some interesting stories and be inspired by amazing pictures:)
It’s my turn to nominate...Lucile, if you’re up for it…take a look at this challenge, I think it’s right up your alley:)

Thanks for taking part in the 5 days 5 photos Writing Challenge Julia, wonderful words and photos too. I liked all your photosl but especially liked the mix of the green against the black and white in the second photo – very creative. 🙂

Are those icicles in the tree on photo three? That photo is interesting. It looks dangerous and peaceful at the same time.

Yes, they are icicles:) it was the most interesting winter feature I’ve seen!

I really like the first photo with the umbrellas and the resort chairs. Unusual but very interesting. And the third photo reminds me of Harry Potter when he went back home and found Dumbledore’s brother, can’t remember his name or the name of the place (I’m getting old), but that photo reminds me of that. They are all beautiful though, great job 🙂

I glad you like the challenge 😀 Thanks so much for linking this. Such lovely words and I like what you’ve done with your photos- the colors in the first and the focus in the 3rd are really intriguing.
