“Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance.” Coco Chanel
If you had any doubts until now…here it goes…I LOVE FASHION:)
I like to think that most of us love to look and feel good…but I also know that sometimes we like to say that we don’t care about fashion or trend…what’s in or what’s last year’s piece!
…and even if we don’t follow the catwalk, big brands or well-known fashion designers, that does not mean that our wardrobe it’s not a slight echo of this year’s spring/summer collection.
Fashion is beauty…but it is also personality…an imitation of our DNA, if you want….
No matter how much we would like to deny…today, tomorrow…near or far future…we are going to realise that we are not so far from being fashionable. You might say that there is nothing in your wardrobe that is trendy…I would say…’look again’!
Fashion is not always trying to keep up with new collections, styles, cuts and fabrics…fashion is what you love wearing, because what you love today…many more will adore tomorrow!
I don’t love everything that each season’s trend brings…but everything I wear becomes a new style…a new line…because I decide what makes me feel good, confident and fabulous:)))
For that reason only, this week I bring to you…the flower power!
If you didn’t notice yet…this spring is full of flowers…and I don’t just mean, in the garden:)
Left and right, everywhere you look, from vests to dresses and jackets to trousers…everything is covered in flowers!
I’ve never been a big fan of flower print…and I do not believe I will ever become one:)
What I do like is…simplicity…a subtle touch of what might have been a flower impression!
I like to keep it simple but always with a touch of a personal style.
If you page through a fashion magazine…catch a catwalk show while flipping through the TV Channels or just fancy knowing what else is out there…don’t think too much about it, try out new things, adapt them to your own style and you will see that in a blink of an eye you will enjoy what you’re wearing more…and appreciate old pieces that you’ve thought you’ll never wear again!
Fashion is what you make it to be…what you see around you is just a gentle push to take your imagination on a beautiful journey of discovery. Don’t forget…you are the artist creating your next masterpiece…so, make it unique because there is only one of YOU!
The choice is always yours…
I love the flower prints!
Your pictures are so artistic…

I completely agree about fashion being an expression of your own imagination and creativity. I love to see older trends coming back into style and especially flower patterns for the warmer months! Looking forward to reading more of your posts 🙂

Fashion is certainly what you make it to be. I found the most perfect vintage dress from the late 1960s or early 1970s yesterday. It’s a floral pattern like much of what’s “in” this summer but it’s also unique because it’s from another era. I can’t wait to wear it and express myself in my own way

I am so happy you’ve liked the fashion post and even happier that you’ve identified yourself in the comments:) I can only imagine the new dress you have…I love vintage myself and I found it funny how fashion actually has a cycle …keeps coming back:))))

It sure does. I love vintage, too, though I don’t really have any vintage clothing besides this dress. I really need to get into thrifting because there are such cool clothes out there just waiting to be worn again.
Yes, this post was great. I really enjoyed it. 🙂
